Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book tickets online?
From the Home Page, click on the show you’d like to see and then click “Book Now.” This will take you to our ticketing website. Select the date and time you’d like to see the show from the column on the left. Once you’ve selected this, a map of the theatre will appear on your screen. Choose where you would like to sit by clicking on the purple dots. They will turn yellow once they have been selected. Please note that the stage is at the top of the map. Click buy ticket(s) at the bottom of the page.
The next page is where you will choose your ticket type. Under the name of the show, at the top of the page, is a drop down menu. It is set by default to adult. Click adult and more options will appear. Select the type of ticket you would like (ie. concessions), and then proceed to the checkout.
I booked online. How do I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be available for pick up on the night of your show, thirty minutes before the show starts, in the box office.
Are concessions available?
Concessions are available for senior citizens, children, full time students and Friends/Angels of the Tabard Theatre.
How do I book a concession ticket online?
After you’ve selected your seats on the map, click Buy Tickets at the bottom of the page. This will take you to a page called “Order Summary.” Near the top of this page is a drop down menu that is set by default to adult. Click on the little down arrow by the word “adult” and will show you the concession option. You will need to do this individually for each concession ticket.
Can I pick up my tickets from the box office early?
No as we do not print the tickets until the night of the performance. Please pick up your tickets on the night of the show.
Can I buy tickets from the box office?
Tickets are available at the box office the night of the show. The box office opens thirty minutes before the show begins.
Are food and drinks available at the theatre?
Yes. There are snacks and drinks available in the theatre upstairs. If you would like a more substantial meal, the Tabard Pub serves food and is right below the theatre.
Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
As a small 96 seater venue above a pub, we are not accessible for wheelchair users but we are working to assess and improve our accessibility wherever possible. There are 20 steps from the street to the box office.
Are latecomers admitted?
Due to the design of the auditorium, latecomers cannot be admitted until the interval (if there is one).
Can I hire the theatre?
We’d love to work with you! If you are interested in bringing a production to the Tabard Theatre or would like to hire the theatre for a bespoke event, then please contact us on email@example.com. Visit our Hire the Theatre page for more information.
