Double Bill: Rob Oldham, Sarah Kendell

[Work In Progress]

The Tabard is pleased to announce another double bill of comedy!

We all live on a giant spherical rock that is orbiting through the infinite void of space. How do we lead moral leaves in these baffling conditions? Is it possible to be ‘right’ when nothing is certain? Is live stand up comedy financially viable any more?

Don’t worry, stand up comedian Rob Oldham will try to find out! After his 2018 Fringe debut Worm’s Lament (The Guardian‘s ‘Top Shows of the Edinburgh Fringe’ as “a vivid snapshot of being young and half-alive in the 21st Century”), Rob is back with his “quirky, offbeat sensibilities that distil into smart jokes that rarely sound like anyone else’s” (Chortle).

Two-time Edinburgh Best Show nominee and two-time Writers’ Guild winner returns once again with a brand new show! Sarah Kendall is an award-winning comedian and writer whose stand-up shows have been nominated for Perrier and Time Out Comedy Awards.

Her writing credits include Beehive (Channel 4) and Comedy Cuts (ITV) both of which she also performed in. She is a regular cast member of Clare in the Community and has made numerous appearances on television and Radio 4.
